Katherine Ruonala | Founder & Senior Leader, Glory City Church

Katherine Ruonala has a prophetic and healing ministry and travels internationally as a conference speaker bringing a message of love and hope to the nations. Katherine carries a strong prophetic and miracle anointing with many experiencing instant healing in her meetings. Reaching across denominational walls, her ministry is also used to spread the fires of revival and ignite a fresh passion in the hearts of believers to go deeper in their relationship with God.

Katherine hosts her own television show and is author of the books “Speak Life: Creating Your World With Your Words”, “Living in the Miraculous: How God’s Love is Expressed Through the Supernatural”, “Wilderness to Wonders: Embracing the Power of Process” and “Life With The Holy Spirit: Enjoying Intimacy With The Spirit of God”.

Wilson Lim | Senior Pastor, Hope Church Queensland

Founder and senior pastor for Hope Church Queensland and also serves as an Elder with Hope International Ministries (HIM). He was a former research scientist with CSIRO. Pastor Wilson also serves on the Board of community service organisation, Australia Care and Trauma Services (ACTS) and previously on an interdenominational Bible college. His passion is teaching, equipping leaders and building the church. He travels extensively to minister to HIM churches in different parts of the world. He is also happily married to fellow founding pastor, Lai Ling, and have three children.

Brendan Kirby | Senior Pastor, Hope Church Adelaide

Brendan and his wife Helen are the founding pastors of Hope Church Adelaide which they pioneered in 1998. Brendan is passionate about planting churches and training pastors and leaders. He is also the senior pastor of Hope Perth, oversees churches in South and Western Australia, Africa and India. Brendan also possesses 23 years of research experience and a PhD in Applied Physics from The University of Melbourne. As a pastor he has a great sense of humour and is most loved as a spiritual dad who loves God and people.

Peter Irvine is the author of “Win in Business” and “Building Your Business, Your People, Your life” and co-founder of Gloria Jeans Coffees Australia. Peter aims to empower leaders, church and other organizations in connecting faith to life, and to see people have a renewed vision of God’s plan for them. Peter has more than 50 years of experience in business at a high profile management level, and now speaks worldwide, providing tools, encouragement, advice and expertise to businesspeople at a variety of Church and non-Church events. Peter shares from real life experience and is passionate about seeing business people come alive to the full purpose and potential God has for them in life. Peter and his wife, Sue, are now based at Lifehouse Church, Coffs Harbour and are part of the Board and Leadership Culture Carriers team. Brett & Kate Ryan - Raising Kingdom Kids in the Digital Age

Prior to his role as a CEO of Focus of the Family, Brett was a Critical Care nurse for 15 years with majors in Accident and Emergency and Intensive Care. He worked in a variety of teaching hospitals including the trauma centre at the Alfred, Monash Medical Centre and the Royal Children’s hospital. Brett was then offered the position as Children’s Pastor at CityLife Church in 2001 and remained in that role for 12 years, overseeing 3 campuses, 20 staff, 400 volunteers and almost 1000 children weekly. Brett commenced his role at Focus of the Family in July 2013. Kate was a teacher for 25 years, in both primary and secondary school. She was a sports coordinator and specialized in gifted children and special needs. Kate left teaching to support Brett and the ministry. They love speaking together and are passionate about healthy marriages and families. Kate and Brett have been married for 30 years and they have 3 young men, and two beautiful daughters in law, and 2 grandchildren. They love spending time with their family, all sports and playing board games. Brett’s aim is to complete a Sudoku without looking up the answers. Andy Leake - Transitioning into the Workforce

Andy Leake completed high school in 1992, obtained a bachelor of construction management in 2001, and has been in the workforce for 29 years. He is currently working as the Manager of Construction and Maintenance services at ElectraNet. Andy has been serving in Hope Churches since 1993, and is currently involved in the student ministry, praise and worship team and Activate Highschool Youth Group at Hope Adelaide. He is also one of the board member at the church. Andy has a big heart in helping the young adults to transit well from their campuses to the professional world.

Denis Lu - Guarding our Hearts Through a Significant Life Change

Pastor Denis Lu was one of the pioneering members of Hope Kuching with Pastor Simon, in 1992. He is currently the Senior Pastor of Hope Kuching and an Elder in HIM. He oversees HIM churches in Malaysia. Denis graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1991 from University Newcastle, Australia in 1991. He returned to Kuching, lectured at Stamford College and later became the College’s principal in 1995. He moved on to be an education counselor for Taylor’s College before entering full-time ministry in September 2001. Denis is married to Pastor Chong Hai Eng, who is also the Senior Manager in the HIM Elders’ Office. They have a son.

Lai Ling Lim - Re-Dig Spiritual Wells for Personal Revival

Pastor Lai Ling co-founded Hope Church Brisbane and is known for her leadership in intercession and prophetic ministries in HIM and Hope Church. She is also passionate about pastoral care and counselling. She was a certified accountant and holds Diplomas in Biblical Studies & Ministry, and Counselling. Lai Ling is happily married to Pastor Wilson, they have three children Paul, Daniel and Deborah.

Tim Edwards - Loving and Reaching our First Nation People

Pastor Tim Edwards is an Australian Indigenous Leader who commenced Christian Ministry in 1983. Originally from Innisfail North Queensland Australia where he became a born again Christian in March 1979 and his life and ministry has been a powerful testimony and blessing to the nation of Australia and nations across the world with over 35 years of ministry and public life. Tim and his wife Dianna have been local Church Pastors across Australia in Canberra / Queanbeyan NSW, Tamworth NSW, Babinda & Cairns Qld, and past 13yrs in Perth, including being Emergency Foster Carers for over 160 Children. They believes along with a team by establishing a School of the Arts based on various aspects of worship from Indigenous Christians from all nations would be their legacy of vast relationships and experience of ministry especially amongst First Nations people.

Bevan Mailman - Loving and Reaching our First Nation People

Bevan Mailman is the Managing Director of Jaramer Legal, Australia’s first national Indigenous law firm, the Chairman of Desert Springs Projects, a company which is leading the initiation and facilitation of new enterprise, infrastructure and community development projects amongst remote Indigenous communities, especially in Australia’s Northern region, and is an Advisor to Impact Investment Partners, a private equity firm that has established Australia’s first Indigenous infrastructure ownership fund.

Lance & Belle Wolter - Taking the Kingdom Forward

Pastor Lance and Belle, along with their growing family, have been pioneering a number of different ministries and churches for over 20 years in both Australia and Africa. They currently oversee churches in Africa, NSW and Gold Coast. In their workshop they will share steps, God has given them to cultivate a sustainable, pioneering and fruitful momentum. As budding cultural architects, God has progressively given them the blueprint for multiplicity and real change in the Arts, Community development for the poor, Church planting and leadership development multiplication.

David Carusi have been a christian for about 14 years. He like apologetics and philosophy and enjoy learning about history and comparative religion.

Keith Moody - How to Reach Australians near you?

Pastor Keith Moody has been in full time ministry for over 30 years as a member of the Assemblies of God/Australian Christian Churches and actively involved in Church life for over 42 years. He Pastored within the “Paradise Community Church” (now “Influencers” Church) for 16 years, under the leadership of Senior Pastor, Dr Andrew Evans. Most recently, Pastor Keith was the Senior Associate Pastor at Lifepoint Church; together their team saw the local church grow from 300 to 1100 people. Ps Keith is a very likeable and humorous story-teller with a passion for discipleship and local church growth.

Patrick & Sarah Ching - Mentoring and Multiplication

Pastor Patrick & Sarah have been serving in Hope Churches (Malaysia and Australia) for more than 20 years. They relocated to Canberra in 2012 and took over the leadership of Hope Church Canberra at the beginning of 2014. Patrick is also working as an IT Professional and Sarah is a stay home mum taking care of their boys, David and Gabriel.

Anna Prajitna - Emotional Intelligence for Youth: identifying, understanding and managing your emotions

Anna is a registered family counsellor with over 10 years of experience in providing warm and effective therapeutic support to adolescents, adults, couples and families. Anna does not believe in a “one size fits all” methodology and recognises that people’s life journeys and stores are very different. Outside her professional life, Anna is a pastoral leader of her local church, overseeing youth and mental health support ministries. Anna is happily married to husband Freedy, and together they have two young boys, Ezra and Zavier, with baby number 3 on the way!

Stephen Lim - Song Writing Workshop

Stephen Lim have been writing songs, playing guitar and worship leading in ACC and CRC South Australian local and regional churches for the past 20 years. “I felt in awe that God is still giving me songs to write as it is not only a song for me but healing for myself and others, and a reminder that God just wants me to keep singing for Him,” says Stephen.

Eugene & Ming Saw - Relationship or Relation-slips

Eugene and Ming met in Hope Canberra in 2016. They developed their relationship through the university days and was married in October 2020. They serve in the student and worship ministry and both lead university student lifegroups. Dedicated to seeing the church fulfill God’s calling and the Great Commission, they love to see lives being transformed by God and have the privilege of discipling young couples and individuals in our midst. They both love sports, travels and food and have a recent rough collie puppy called Lessie!

Khoa & Stephanie Kim - Relationship or Relation-slips

Khoa and Stephanie met when Stephanie started joining Hope Canberra as a student in 2014. While serving together in student ministry, they developed their relationship and saw each other as life partners. Along the years, they had also led youth and kids ministry. Three years ago, seeing a need to minister to students who were transitioning to the workforce, they started a working adult lifegroup called Zion together. From then on, working adult ministry has been their focus. They are currently enjoying their family life with a one year old daughter, Charis, and a five year old dog named Giggle.

Eddie & May Burrell - Healthy Habits in Marriage

Eddie and May first met at a Hope Church working adults conference. And, as they say, the rest was history. They are married for nearly 7 years. Eddie serves in the welcome team and children’s (Kids for Christ) ministries, and leads the intercessory prayer ministry. He is passionate about discipling men to be men of God. May oversees the service outreach and operations, and missions departments. She is passionate about seeing the Kingdom of God extended. Together, they enjoy watching action movies, eating yummy foods, and more recently, achieving running goals together.

Torch & Lisa Leung - Healthy Habits in Marriage

Pastor Torch and Lisa Leung currently pastor the Ablaze Youth Service of Hope Church Brisbane. Together, they share a vision to disciple generations who change nations. Pastor Torch recently started pioneering Worship Arts Media (WAM) Global Missions, which seek to equip and train worship & creative arts teams in local churches, and empower them to build churches and fulfill the Great Commission. Lisa previously led Hands of Hope, the community impact ministry of Hope Church Brisbane, and pioneered “Christmas 4 Kids”, the flagship community event that continues to reach several hundred children and their families every year.

With over two decades experience in ministry, Pastor Torch and Lisa are well-known for their passionate, in depth preaching and teaching. Both of them also move in the prophetic, and have trained worship teams in several nations. Their passion is to see young people equipped to help fulfill the Great Commission, as well as to see the church restored as the head of every sphere of society, especially in media and the arts, leadership development and community impact.

Pastor Torch received a Master of Business Communication Studies from Queensland University of Technology and an Advanced Diploma of Christian Ministry from Southland Training Australia. Lisa currently works as a senior policy advisor with the Queensland Government. They have happily been married over 10 years and are raising their delightful and beautiful daughter, Aria Joy. They enjoy all aspects of parenthood and believe that seeds of God’s kingdom are best nurtured in the home.
